1. Responsibility for Misuse of Identification Cards

Members of the RTI Activist Association of India are fully responsible for any misuse of their identification cards. It is imperative that members safeguard their identification cards to prevent unauthorized use.

2. Misconduct and Unconstitutional Activities

Any form of misconduct, malpractice, or engagement in unconstitutional activities can lead to the cancellation of membership with the RTI Activist Association of India. Members are expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

3. Volunteer Nature of Membership

Members of the RTI Activist Association of India work selflessly and do not receive any form of payment. The association values the voluntary spirit of its members who dedicate their time and efforts to promote transparency and accountability.

4. Notification of Address Changes

Members must notify the main office of any changes to their correspondence address. Keeping contact information up-to-date ensures effective communication between the association and its members.

5. Reporting Lost Identification Cards

In the event of a lost identification card, members must immediately inform the national office in writing, along with a copy of the FIR/NCR (First Information Report/Non-Cognizable Report). Prompt reporting helps prevent misuse of lost identification cards.

6. Validity of Identification Cards

The identification cards issued by the RTI Activist Association of India are considered valid only when presented alongside a government-issued identification card. This measure ensures the authenticity and validity of the association’s identification cards.

7. Contacting the National Office

Any member seeking additional clarification or information is free to contact the national office. The association encourages open communication and is committed to addressing any queries or concerns from its members.
